Guides & Settings

Mechanics training, rotation fundamentals, and camera settings used by pros.

Mechanics

Aerial Training Guide

Progress from basic aerials to double taps and ceiling shots. Covers jump timing, boost management in the air, air roll control, and custom training packs for each skill level.

Rotation

Rotation Basics

The #1 skill separating ranks. Understand back-post rotation, when to challenge vs wait, cutting rotation for speed, and how to read your teammates' positioning in 2s and 3s.

Settings

Camera Settings (Pro Presets)

Camera distance, angle, stiffness, and FOV used by top pros (Squishy, JSTN, ApparentlyJack). Why these settings matter and how to find your personal sweet spot.

Strategy

Kickoff Strategies

Speed flip kickoffs, diagonal kickoffs, and fake kickoffs. When to use each type, how to win 50/50s consistently, and what your teammate should do based on spawn position.

Mechanics

Dribbling & Flicks

Ball carrying, power slide cuts, 45-degree flicks, musty flicks, and breezi flicks. Ground-to-air transitions and how to practice dribbling effectively in free play.

Ranking

Ranking System & Free Play Drills

How MMR works, rank distribution, and what skills you need for each tier. Plus structured free play routines that build mechanics faster than only playing games.

Quick Tips

  1. Spend 15 minutes in free play before ranked — warming up ball control, fast aerials, and power shots prevents the slow start that costs you early goals.

  2. Rotate back post, always — rotating to the far post gives you a full view of the field and lets you make saves that front-post rotation cannot reach.

  3. Don't ball chase — if your teammate is closer to the ball, rotate back and grab boost. Two players on the ball means zero defense and easy counter-goals.

  4. Learn fast aerials early — jumping and boosting simultaneously (then double jumping) gets you to the ball 2x faster than single-jump aerials. Essential by Gold.

  5. Use ball cam 90% of the time — only switch to car cam briefly when grabbing boost, dribbling, or checking teammate positions. Ball cam gives better spatial awareness.
